The Space Settlement Design Tournament (SSDT) is a unique opportunity for high school students from Latin America to learn about design, planning, and management of human settlements in space.

In this immersive and dynamic educational model, based on the NASA RFP model:

  • For four days, 200 students will test their knowledge, teamwork skills, and creativity by proposing solutions for Engineering, Architecture, Robotics, Design, Human Structures Automation departments, learning from over 35 experts from the space industry including NASA, ISS, NSS, THE BOEING COMPANY, and more.
  • They will develop their knowledge, teamwork skills, and creativity by proposing solutions for different departments.
  • They will test their project management skills and business plan development.

The tournament is open to students from:

  • Rural communities
  • Public schools
  • Speakers of indigenous languages
  • Underprivileged situations
  • Without digital connectivity

The tournament is conducted 100% in English, allowing students to interact with experts from around the world.

Virtual via Zoom and Discord

Only 257 astronauts have been to space, but over 2 million specialists on the ground made it possible remotely; this underscores the importance of virtual training.

About Ecokids Club activities

We develop different ecological activities, with an easy-learning methodology, where children learn while they play, each activity is carried out with the support of experts in each topic, in the company or alliances of important companies so that children naturally learn environmental care. environment, Some of the activities are:

Aligned with the objective of shaping children as leaders of tomorrow and agents of change.

General Objectives

Basic Pillars for Participant Presentations.

1- Foster Environmental Awareness: Promote understanding and appreciation of the environment. Inspire others to care for and protect natural resources.

2- Develop Practical Skills: How practical skills related to sustainability are acquired: such as gardening, recycling, and healthy cooking.

3- Promote Youth Leadership: Empower children to become environmental leaders in their communities by providing them with tools and resources to take positive action.

4- Inspire Community Action: Children integrate into their community, inviting them to participate in projects and activities that benefit the environment, fostering a spirit of collaboration and social responsibility as agents of change.
